Compound use of Calcium sulphoaluminate cement and superplasticizer

Key words
Calcium sulphoaluminate cement, polycarboxylate superplasticizer, naphthalene sulfonate superplasticizer, retarder, citric acid, β-cyclodextrin
Calcium sulphoaluminate cement is widely used in concrete engineering due to its high strength, rapid setting, antifreeze, impermeability and other performance characteristics, but its application is limited due to the rapid hydration time during its use, which leads to a large loss of fluidity over time.
Through the compound use of Calcium sulphoaluminate cement, superplasticizer and retarder, the setting time of concrete can be prolonged, the slump loss can be reduced, and the flexural strength and compressive strength can also be significantly improved.

At present, Calcium sulphoaluminate cement has good adaptability to naphthalene-based superplasticizer and polycarboxylate superplasticizer.
The more economical compounding scheme is sulfoaluminate cement + naphthalene-based superplasticizer + citric acid.
A more efficient compounding scheme is sulfoaluminate cement + polycarboxylate superplasticizer + β-cyclodextrin.
